Awoke to AWESOME thunderstorms that slowly seeped their way into our lean-to shelter. Pretty wet, but amazing to watch and feel the power!
We decided to layover again and wait out the storms. Then the wind changed direction and our site became windward. But we managed to get our anchor working, and were able to moor BOB safely away from shore.
Now we know what to do with the boat when docking in rough water. We are learning so much every day. Lots of lessons are coming early in the trip, and I am thankful for that.
Great waves pummeled our little beach all day – it was fun for swimming and body surfing! Nice place to take a little break.
